Last week we read two stories about Farmer Ham. The first one was called "Farmer Ham" and the second one was called " Farmer Ham Too". They were about a farmer (who was a pig) and the crows that were eating all the corn in his cornfield. Farmer Ham needed to do something to scare the crows away. Paddington Has Been Busy
Lucky Paddington. He has been to stay with Anjana, Lynelle and Raviinaa. Here is what they had to say about their time with Paddington.
Today Paddington was reading my book and I was reading his book and he was good. He slept with me and hugged me.

Mother's Day Writing
Piper
On Mother's Day we went to mc donoolds to have brecfeost. First we gave mum presonts then we went to mc donoolds for brecfeost after that we went to the park. For diner we had chips. Mum washappy she did a handstand and a roley poley and gave us a hug and us a kiss. The best was when she did a handstand and a roley poley I was smiling all day it was the best.

wen it was moth's day me and my famale went to a speshol plase and we had speshol dinar fere. we had dezert at home. my nannar gave my mum a present in a box and we had fun.

On Mother's Day we stayed home and at home we did some cleening. I cleened my room antil it was brecfest time. My mammy like the presents and my daddy gave my mummy a alectric frying pan. Mum also liked the box of love and the card. In the afternoon we made tow canedls.

Honour Certificates
Three children have been working very hard in A2. They are Piper, Diego and Randall. At the assembly they all received Honour Certificates. Well done, you three. Keep up the excellent work.
Piper is a most polite, responsible student who enjoys helping in the classroom. She works hard at all times and produces excellent work.
Diego always listens carefully to other people and asks sensible and interesting questions. He gets on with his work quickly and quietly.
Randall always settles down to his task quickly and produces very pleasing work at all times. His handwriting is getting better and better. He always participates in class discussions.

In Science we have been learning about where living things can be found.
Living things can be found where it is hot or cold, wet or dry.
They can be found in the trees or in the grass.
Living things can be found in water or on dry land.
Places where living things can be found are called habitats.

Wonderful Wednesday
On Wednesday the children of A2 went down to the oval to
have a go on the obstacle course. Firstly Mrs Lannin walked us through it and
showed us what to do and told us how to stay safe. After that we got in a long
line and one at a time we set off. We ran around the course twice. The
favourite part for most children was the zig-zag balance beam. At the end
everyone was hot, sweaty and tired.
Paddington went to Bali
Paddington had a fabulous time in Bali. This is what Piper wrote.
Today Paddington liked the chocolate milkshake we bought him. We saw some of his cousins at the shops. We loved Bali.
